Hi there! I’m Nathan, and I work with organizations that want to beat burnout and slay stress so they can find greater resilience, productivity, and joy.

Years ago, I found myself completely burned out. Overwhelming responsibilities at work left me physically drained, emotionally exhausted, and miserable. My stress didn’t stay at the office—it followed me home, straining my health, marriage, and family. Ironically, as a pastor, my job required compassion and care, but my tank was empty. Desperation finally pushed me to embrace self-care practices I’d spent years teaching others. Bit by bit, life improved.

I’m not alone. Research shows 57% of workers report negative impacts from work-related stress, including emotional exhaustion and irritability.¹ Worse, burned-out employees are three times more likely to job hunt, significantly impacting workplace morale and productivity.²

More About Me & What I do

I’m Nathan Mugaas, a Minnesota-based speaker, comedian, and pastor. I work with organizations that want to beat burnout and slay stress so they can find greater resilience, productivity, and joy. Through humor and storytelling, I connect with people on a personal level, acknowledging the harsh effects of change, stress, and life in general. Then, I offer practical tools and motivation to help them face those challenges head-on.

I approach life from a spiritual perspective, but I don’t impose or promote religion. Instead, I meet people where they are, genuinely caring for and about them.

My greatest sources of joy, stress, frustration, inspiration, and purpose are my three boys and my amazing wife, Annie. Together, we love traveling, eating out, movie nights, spending time outdoors, cruising in our vintage Volkswagen Beetle, and playfully teasing each other.
